In summary, it was uneventful. I don't even remember what I did last year... probably nothing as well.
Unfortunately, this year I had work, 1 class, and a group meeting on the day so, so I didn't get to join my cousin's festivities until the evening. Apparently they went shopping and bought a lot of snacks, and spent the whole day munching, eating, and playing games. Jelly!
I had dinner at home and then walked upstairs to play a few rounds of majong. Boy do I need a refresher. I only played it a few times back when I was in Shanghai in 2012 and have forgotten all the rules by now. I don't even remember which style I played.
Anyhow, I didn't win any rounds (terrible hands) and lost money in one round. My cousins got a bunch of quarters from the bank and are going to keep using them as gambling chips. Until next time!
