Lantau Island

In hindsight, we should have stayed longer in Hong Kong. We only had 3 days, and there was way more to do and eat compared to Taipei. Also, we love Cantonese food! Our schedule was jam packed with dinner and time with friends, so I'm disappointed that we didn't explore more of Hong Kong, like Sai Kung, which is beautiful.

The Big Buddha is an amazing sight, from looking at it from afar and climbing up the steps to meet him. I don't remember Lantau Island for the Big Buddha, but actually the mountains. I remember feeling really fond of Hong Kong in those moments in the cable car, and when I looked out into them from the Big Buddha.
