These past few weeks have been hectic to say the least, mostly because I'm still traveling during the week and my weekends are busy with domestic chores, errands, or plans with friends. In all, 2019 is flying by.
I went snowboarding these last two weekends (I know, pretty hardcore huh?). I skied once, so I don't feel committed enough to feel bad about switching.
Snowboarding is hard to learn. Plus I'm super out of shape. I spent a lot of time on the ground; being a fast learner, this was extremely frustrating. Maybe I should just accept that I'm unathletic.
In other news, Hunter Mountain is a nice place for beginners - they have lessons every hour and they divide you into groups that fit your level. Staff is friendly. While it feels small, there's two lifts that takes you up the mountain where there are fewer people (surprisingly). And while I'm frustrated, I'm not one to give up! I'll probably go again next Winter, but whether it's Hunter Mountain or elsewhere is still TBD!
